Judicial Clerks

Paul Hastings actively recruits judicial clerks to join the Firm as new associates, and we strongly encourage our summer associates to consider applying for judicial clerkships before joining the Firm as full time associates.  Many of our attorneys have served as judicial clerks in a wide range of federal and state courts, including the United States Supreme Court, United States Courts of Appeal, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and several state appellate courts.  In recognition of a judicial clerk's experience, Paul Hastings provides a $50,000 bonus for a one year clerkship; a $70,000 bonus for a two year clerkship; and offers one year of compensation and class year credit.  Those clerking for the US Supreme Court will receive a competitive bonus and are eligible for class year credit. Judicial clerks are also eligible to receive a generous stipend to assist with bar exam preparation, review courses, and bar application expenses.
