Indiana Packers to Acquire Specialty Foods Group

New York — Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm is representing Indiana Packers Corporation, a fully integrated pork processor, in its proposed acquisition of Specialty Foods Group, an independent producer and marketer of premium branded and private-label processed meat products in the United States. The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approvals and certain other closing conditions, and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018.
