Paul Hastings Represented Bank of Montreal in Senior Secured Financing for AgroFresh

NEW YORK – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, represented Bank of Montreal as Administrative Agent and Collateral Agent to Lenders in a $450 million senior secured facility to finance Boulevard Acquisition Corp.’s purchase of AgroFresh Inc. from The Dow Chemical Company. AgroFresh Inc. is a global agricultural innovator in proprietary technologies that preserve the quality and value of fresh produce.

The financing consisted of a US$25 million senior secured revolving facility and a US$425 million senior secured term loan facility. The transaction closing date was July 31, 2015.

The Paul Hastings team was led by Leveraged Finance partner Richard Farley, and included of counsel Benjamin Cheng and associates Danny Choi and Andrew Jenkinson.
