Paul Hastings Advises BCI Broadband in Two Acquisitions

New York, NY-- Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm is representing BCI Broadband (BCI) in the recently completed acquisition of the assets of Allegiance Communications, LLC, an operator of non-urban broadband systems across the Midwestern states of Arkansas, Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma; and the announced agreement to purchase cable provider James Cable, LLC, a transaction which is expected to close in mid-2013. James Cable operates under the brand name Mediastream and is owned by GoldenTree Asset Management LP.

BCI Broadband is a next-generation broadband MSO formed by the executive management team from pioneering cable operator Bresnan Communications in partnership with BBH Capital Partners (BBHCP), a private equity fund sponsored by Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
