SEC Enforcement: Top 10 Developments Under Mary Jo White

Just over a year ago, the Senate confirmed President Barack Obama’s nomination of Mary Jo White as Chair of the SEC. White, who was lured away from a New York City law firm that has represented Wall Street banks and their executives, previously spent a decade as a United States Attorney in New York City overseeing the prosecution of various criminals, including mafia dons, corrupt politicians, and international terrorists (including the 1993 World Trade Center bombers). She has a reputation for being driven, competitive, and tough as nails.
