Where does Paul Hastings conduct on-campus interviews?

What specific qualities does the firm look for in candidates during interviews?
We seek students who exemplify the hallmarks of our successful associates: Innovative, strong communication skills, achievement drive, interpersonal savvy, dedication to client service excellence, and the ability to work effectively as a team member. Students should be committed to work for a dynamic and entrepreneurial law firm on sophisticated complex legal matters collaboratively across practices and offices to help our clients overcome challenges and move their business forward. Candidates must have outstanding interpersonal and oral/written communication skills and a record of excellent academic achievement. Law Review, journal, and/or moot court membership is preferred. May I interview with or express interest in more than one office at Paul Hastings?
Paul Hastings recruits as one law firm at law schools and job fairs; however, candidates may express interest in additional geographic areas or offices. Candidates should be prepared to discuss their interest in these geographic areas or offices during their interview.
What if I can't interview on campus and am interested in the firm?
Students who do not get an interview slot with the firm should visit our hospitality suite on the interview date and leave application materials with the Talent Acquisition staff. If time permits, our interviewers may be able to add additional students to the schedule or be able to chat briefly. Students may contact the Talent Acquisition staff prior to the interview date to inquire if there are any available interview times or if alternative arrangements may be made.
How are office callbacks communicated?
If you have been selected for a callback interview, you will receive a phone call shortly after your on-campus interview. You will also receive an invitation via email with a link to schedule your callback interview with the office directly.
What is the typical schedule for the callback interviewing process?
A typical callback interview consists of meeting with a variety of attorneys. The morning interviews may include a lunch with attorneys. Candidates should plan to spend approximately three to four hours at the firm.
Will the firm reimburse travel expenses for callbacks?
Yes, the firm will reimburse reasonable travel-related expenses for callback interviews for out-of-town candidates. Reasonable expenses include round-trip coach airfare, hotel room and tax, and a meal allowance. The firm does not reimburse for expenses related to rental cars or other incidentals. Please contact the local Talent Acquisition staff for information on how to make your travel arrangements.
