Paul Hastings Advises BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital on Acquisition of Stretch Addera by Communardo

Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP advised leading European private equity investor BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital (BU) on the acquisition of Stretch Addera AB from Stretch AB by Communardo Group.

Through the acquisition of Stretch Addera, a member of the Stretch Group and a leading Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner headquartered in Karlstad, Sweden, Communardo is able to enter the Nordic market and continue its growth.

Communardo is a leading DACH-focused service provider in Atlassian (Platinum status) and Microsoft modern workplace solutions for upper mid-market and enterprise customers. It provides end-to-end services across four revenue streams: professional services, license reselling, managed services and its own software apps.

The acquisition was backed by funds advised by BU, which supports Communardo on its growth path. BU is the largest midcap investor headquartered in the DACH region, with a total of €7 billion in capital raised since its establishment. The funds advised by BU invest in medium-sized companies based in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria.

The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of the relevant authorities.
