Overview

Cullen Tyndall is an associate in Paul Hastings’ Real Estate Department and is based in the firm’s San Diego office. Cullen helps clients obtain and defend land use and environmental approvals from government agencies for major infrastructure, energy and development projects.

Cullen advises clients in connection with land use strategy, agency negotiations and administrative proceedings before local, state and federal agencies and regulatory bodies. His practice also involves counseling clients with respect to several federal and state laws and regulations, including the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), California Coastal Act, California Housing Accountability Act, California Surplus Land Act and the California Subdivision Map Act.

Cullen received his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 2022 and earned a B.A. in History from Duke University in 2019. Cullen is admitted to practice law in California.
