Overview

Greg Drozdzal is an associate in the Securities and Capital Markets practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses on advising public and private companies, venture capital and private equity investors, and financial intermediaries in significant debt and equity financings (including venture financings, IPOs, registered follow-on and secondary offerings, Rule 144A/Reg S offerings and private placements), investments, recapitalizations, acquisitions/divestitures, business combinations, JVs and strategic collaborations. He also routinely advises clients on corporate governance, SEC and national securities exchange rules and regulations, and general corporate and U.S. securities law matters.

Formerly an M.D./scientist, Greg maintains a keen interest in drug development and medical device commercialization, and has proficiency drafting tailored public disclosure and conducting extensive due diligence concerning pharmaceuticals, experimental therapeutics, clinical trials, healthcare services delivery, and FDA and other regulatory matters.

Greg received his M.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine in 2015 and his J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2020, graduating with the Angus MacMurchy Gold Medal and Gallant Ho Prize for the highest cumulative average in the J.D. class of 2020. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New York.
