
Overview
Katherine E. Richardson Arnould is an associate in the Financial Restructuring group of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's New York office. Her practice focuses on representing agents, lenders and borrowers on a broad range of financing transactions, including first and second lien revolving and term loan credit facilities, asset-based credit facilities, acquisition financing, refinancings, and both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. She also represents clients in domestic and cross-border corporate transactions including mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance and other general corporate financings. Her experience extends across a variety of industries and business structures.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Kat worked at another international law firm where her practice centered primarily on representing creditors, creditors’ committees and bondholders in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases across several industries, including energy, airline and cargo transportation, and telecommunications.

- Subscription Line Financing — represented bank as lender and agent in connection with a $300 million syndicated secured revolving credit facility.
- Bank as the buyer in connection with a repurchase facility and related purchase of mortgage loans, which facility provided up to $200 million in financing for the seller.
- Bank as lender and agent in connection with a $75 million subordinated second lien convertible term loan.
