Overview

Marc R. Lashbrook is a partner in the Global Finance practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Lashbrook represents leading investment banking firms, commercial banks, and other financial institutions on a wide range of financing transactions. His practice draws on extensive experience representing clients on transactions across multiple industries, including public and private high-yield, investment grade and convertible debt offerings, syndicated and commercial bank financings, and exchange offers and tender offers. He has represented the financing sources in a number of novel, ground-breaking transactions, including $9.8 billion of financing for NortonLifeLock’s acquisition of Avast, the issuance of $23 billion of financing for T-Mobile in connection with its acquisition of Sprint, and $13 billion of financing in connection with the acquisition of Refinitiv by a Blackstone-led consortium.

Mr. Lashbrook has also represented leading investment banks in the issuance of equity and equity-linked securities, including the IPOs of Aramark, Burlington Stores, and PlayAGS.

Mr. Lashbrook has practiced in a variety of industries including gaming, retail, technology, telecommunications, healthcare, industrials, and real estate.

Mr. Lashbrook is recognized as a leading lawyer for Banking & Finance in New York by Chambers USA, where clients note that he is “talented, thoughtful and knowledgeable,” “a skilled lawyer” who is “commercial and easy to work with” and “effective in getting deals done for his clients.”
