Overview

Olivia Pennoyer is an associate in the Litigation Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on complex litigation, government investigations, white-collar defense and regulatory counseling.

Olivia's work focuses on representing individuals, corporations and financial institutions in state and federal matters involving civil litigation, commercial disputes and compliance. Olivia has experience in government investigations and regulatory compliance from her work on Senator Jon Ossoff's Judiciary Committee team when he was chair of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Olivia has also worked on high-profile civil litigations during her time as a paralegal at the Federal Trade Commission in the Division of Marketing Practices.

Olivia received her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she worked as a research fellow for Professors Leah Plunkett and Crystal Yang. Her research focused on issues of privacy and criminal law. During law school, Olivia also served as teaching fellow for Professor Yang's 1L Criminal Law class and worked with the New Hampshire state court system to better support pro se litigants as part of her Alternative Dispute Design clinic. Olivia is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
