Kyrsten Ponturo is an associate in the Litigation Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office.
Kyrsten focuses her practice on white-collar criminal defense, internal and government investigations — state and federal — and complex civil litigation.
Kyrsten represents a broad range of global clients in both state and federal courts. In addition, Kyrsten regularly represents companies and individuals in investigations and enforcement actions initiated by state attorneys general, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, state banking regulators and the Department of Justice. She regularly advises clients on a wide range of consumer protection issues both at the state and federal level.
Kyrsten maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in immigration and family court matters.
Defended a multinational construction machinery company in parallel proceedings across multiple forums, involving RICO and fraud claims, among others.
Won a full dismissal of a DOJ investigation into off-label drug promotion for Alnylam Pharmaceuticals.
