Paul Severs is a partner in the Finance and Capital Markets practices at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s London office. Paul has been involved in the European securities market since the early 1990’s. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the structured finance and securitization markets.
Most recently, Paul has been involved in advising funds establishing, acquiring and growing nonbank loan origination businesses and servicing platforms and acquiring associated loan portfolios. He advises on acquisition finance, growth capital, regulatory capital and compliance requirements. He also advises on asset acquisition and financing structures, warehouse financing and the securitization and trading of loan assets.
Paul has significant experience advising clients on JV and co‑investment structures and establishing new debt origination funds. He works closely with the Paul Hastings funds group.
