Elizabeth Minoofar is of counsel in the Employment Law Department and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, pay equity, website accessibility and wage-and hour matters. In addition, she has represented clients in complex contract disputes and employee mobility actions. Elizabeth has represented clients in multiple jurisdictions in state and federal courts, appellate courts, arbitration and administrative proceedings, and has extensive trial and arbitration experience. In addition to litigation, she regularly assists employers to tackle novel employment issues, develop creative solutions to employee-specific issues, and review and revise their employment policies and procedures.
Successfully defended financial services firm against single-plaintiff claims of disability discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination.
Prevailed at arbitration on all claims in single-plaintiff action against consulting firm for gender discrimination and failure to promote.
