If you have ever felt ill and unsure of what to do, contact the 24/7 NurseLine. NurseLine is open around the clock and 365 days a year, the nurse line is a member’s first step to treatment. Speak to a registered nurse equipped to help you determine the right level of care for any ailment ranging from allergies to more serious illnesses. Depending on the severity of your situation, nurses can connect you to LiveHealth Online (video conferences with board-certified doctors), local specialists, or relevant programs to improve certain health conditions. They can even remind you about important routine check-ups. As soon as you start to feel sick, check with the 24/7 NurseLine about the best course of action.

If you are unsure that you or a covered family member should go to a hospital emergency room for treatment, call the NurseLine.  Remember, if you or a covered family member goes to an emergency room for something that isn't an emergency, the plan will not pay any of the costs.
