California Employers Required to Notify Employees that They May Be Eligible for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit

Effective January 1, 2008, all California employers are required to notify all of their employees that the employees may be eligible for the federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). Compliance involves sending the required content in the required manner at the required time.
