Kosovos Independence: No Negative Impact on Investment into the Region

On Tuesday 26 February 2008, International Financial Services London (IFSL) organised an audience with Dragan Zupanjevac, Serbias Chargé Daffaires in London.
The key question at the forefront of everyones mind was Kosovo and, critically, whether its declaration of independence would cause a negative impact on foreign investment into Serbia and indeed the whole of the south-east European region.
Mr Zupanjevac assured the audience that Kosovos self-declared independence would not affect the investment opportunities that are to be had in Serbia, nor would it affect the growth nor the stabilisation of Serbias economy.
