New Brownfields Exemption Will Help Developers of Contaminated Property

February 11, 2008

By Peter Weiner and Jon Welner

The decision means that a developer who structures its project correctly can receive public funds to help pay for the cleanup of contaminated property without causing the rest of its brownfields project to be subject to prevailing wages.
