
Overview
Jacob Kornhauser is an associate in the Investigations and White-Collar Defense practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on litigation and white-collar defense in DOJ and SEC investigations.
Jacob has represented individuals and corporations in federal investigations involving allegations of securities fraud, violations of the False Claims Act and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He has also defended individuals in civil litigation ranging from allegations of fraud to civil RICO.
Jacob graduated Order of the Coif from the Duke University School of Law in 2024, where he served as a research editor of the Law Review. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri in 2017. Jacob is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
