Overview

Jason Heidemann is an associate in the Litigation Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on patent litigation, including in District Court and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). He brings more than two decades of combined experience in engineering, patent examination, federal agency service and private practice.

His background includes roles as a patent attorney in the USPTO Office of the Chief Judge, attorney advisor at the ITC, primary patent examiner, and engineer at Northrop Grumman — experience that gives him a deep understanding of how cases are evaluated both in government and in court.

Jason is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
