Jonathan Cardenas is an associate in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's New York office. His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and general corporate matters. He is a member of the firm's Global Fintech & Payments Group.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Jonathan was a corporate associate with an international law firm in Washington, D.C. He also completed postdoctoral fellowships with the Information Society Project at Yale Law School and the Transatlantic Technology Law Forum at Stanford Law School.
His writing on private equity and venture capital investment in fintech has been featured in print and digital publications including ABA Business Law Today, Global Corporate Venturing Magazine, The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Fintech, Global Legal Insights: Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Regulation, and Global Legal Insights: Fintech Laws & Regulations.
