Overview

Mark Metrey is an associate in the Real Estate practice and is based in the firm's Washington, DC office. His practice focuses on Real Estate Finance, Capital Markets, and Development and Construction.

Mr. Metrey's experience includes representing investors, lenders, and trustees in various real estate transactions. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, he practiced with a regional firm in Washington, DC. Mr. Metrey also serves as an Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, having been awarded the Armed Forces Services Medal and Army Commendation Medal for his service during COVID-19.

Mr. Metrey received his law degree from the University of Maryland's Carey School of Law in 2021, where he served as Associate Editor of the Law Review. He also served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, where he won the Tulane Pro Football Negotiation Competition in 2021. 

Mr. Metrey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Virginia Tech in 2017. Admitted only in Maryland. Application for admission filed in the District of Columbia. Practice supervised by members of the District of Columbia Bar.
