
Overview
Paul Cesbron Lavau is an associate in the Financial Restructuring group of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Paris office. His practice focuses on insolvency proceedings, financial restructuring, and distress transactions, both domestic and cross-border. He has advised clients in various sectors, including industry, transport, technology, food, and entertainment.
Mr. Cesbron Lavau advises French and foreign companies, shareholders, creditors, and investors on both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. He also regularly handles insolvency and other related liability litigation, as well as complex shareholders disputes.
Before joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Cesbron Lavau was an associate in the restructuring and litigation departments of several law firms in Paris.
He is a member of the Association des Jeunes Professionnels du Restructuring (French Turnaround association for young practitioners) and teaches bankruptcy law at the University of Paris-Nanterre.
