REPRESENTATIONS

  • Cruise Lines International Association in 9th Circuit appellate proceedings challenging the constitutionality of a Hawaii statute imposing fees and compelled speech obligations on cruise operators. Obtained emergency appellate relief blocking implementation of the statute hours before it was scheduled to take effect, preventing potentially tens of millions of dollars in industry-wide impact while the appeal proceeds.

  • Beast Investments and Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast) before the New York Appellate Division, First Department, securing affirmance of dismissal of counterclaims alleging tortious interference and related business tort theories.
