Alia Basar is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on intellectual property with an emphasis on technology and patent-related matters.

Alia received her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2025, where she served as an executive editor for the North Carolina Law Review. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2022.

Alia is admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C. and before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
