Anthony Cahill

Partner, Corporate Department

Overview

Anthony Cahill is a partner in the Private Equity practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office.

He advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and other investors on their most significant transactions and strategic initiatives, guiding clients through the full investment life cycle — from acquisitions and growth investments to portfolio management and successful exits. Anthony brings particular strength in the technology sector, where he combines deep industry knowledge with a practical, business-oriented approach. Having served both as outside counsel and as in-house legal and strategic advisor, he offers clients a distinctive perspective on the opportunities and challenges they face in competitive deal environments.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Anthony was vice president and associate general counsel at TCV, a global technology investor. In that role, he worked closely with deal teams and portfolio companies as a trusted partner, helping to drive investments, navigate operational matters and execute liquidity events. He previously practiced in the private equity group of another international law firm, advising sponsors and companies on mergers and acquisitions, growth equity and other complex transactions.
