Overview

Dan O’Neil is of counsel in the Tax practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York and Boston offices. Dan advises clients on a wide range of executive compensation and employee benefit issues. He has substantial experience with compensation and benefit related matters in corporate transactions, including due diligence, Code Section 280G analyses and implementation of qualified and non-qualified plans. Dan frequently assists clients with deferred compensation issues, equity-based arrangements and executive employment, retention and severance agreements. Dan also advises on tax and securities issues related to compensation governance and disclosure.
