Overview

Emily R. Pidot is co-chair of Paul Hastings’ New York office, the firm’s largest. Her practice is focused on representing employers in a broad array of employment legal matters. 

An experienced trial attorney, Emily has successfully represented clients in jury trials and arbitration hearings. She has expertise in class and collective action litigation, particularly those involving claims of pay equity, systemic discrimination, and wage and hour disputes. She also regularly represents clients in single and multi-plaintiff litigations and arbitrations and has expertise in defending claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation, as well as trade secret disputes. 

Emily also regularly counsels clients on a variety of human resources, compliance and employee relations issues, and has expertise in conducting and overseeing investigations into workplace disputes. She is frequently called on to advise board of directors and individuals in the C-suite on strategies to avoid and mitigate risk.
