Rakhi Kumar is an associate in the Employment Law Department at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Orange County office.

Rakhi represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, pay equity, and wage and hour issues. Rakhi has defended employers against class and representative actions, multi-plaintiff, and single-plaintiff lawsuits across the retail, finance, technology and entertainment industries in state court and arbitration proceedings. Rakhi’s practice also involves assisting employers in revising and implementing employment policies and procedures.

Rakhi also has experience litigating employee mobility and trade secret matters, including matters involving covenants not to compete, unfair competition and fiduciary duties, with a focus on protecting clients’ confidential information and intellectual property.
