Salim Azzam is Of Counsel in the Investment Funds & Private Capital practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.  Mr. Azzam focuses on private fund formation, advising investment management firms in connection with the formation, structuring, marketing, management, and regulatory compliance of U.S. and non-U.S. private funds.  He also regularly advises institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, fund-of-funds, private and public pension funds, and wealth aggregators (and their feeder funds), in connection with their investments in all classes of private funds, with a particular focus on co-investment arrangements.  Mr. Azzam also advises investors in connection with secondary transactions, including purchases, divestments, and recapitalizations.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Salim worked with international law firms in New York and abroad.
