Paul Hastings Receives Top Rankings Among Foreign Law Firms in Korea

The Law Times recognized Paul Hastings as a top performer in Korea’s foreign law firm and joint venture sector in its 2026 Law Firm Consumer Report, ranking the firm No. 1 in International Arbitration & International Trade and 11 competency categories, including Cross-Border Capability and overall Expertise.
Paul Hastings “exceeded the average for foreign law firms and joint ventures in all 15 competency categories,” according to the report, which surveyed more than 3,100 in-house counsel and legal managers from major Korean conglomerates and financial institutions.
The firm outperformed the average for the entire legal market — including top-tier domestic Korean firms — in 13 of 15 categories.
Complex Litigation & Arbitration of counsel Yangho Charles Shin was also named one of the three best lawyers in the foreign law firm and joint venture sector.
