Chris Daniel Named 2023 Fintech “MVP” by Law360

Paul Hastings Founder and Chair of Global Fintech Chris Daniel has been named among Law360’s 2023 “MVPs” for Fintech. Mr. Daniel was recognized for his work representing Voyager Digital LLC in its bankruptcy proceedings, as well as the official committee of unsecured creditors of FTX as the crypto platform proceeds through one of the largest Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings in history.

“We have a substantial crypto client base because we find crypto intellectually fascinating and remarkably interesting, but these are challenging times in crypto,” Mr. Daniel said. “So whether it's our representation of Voyager or our representation of the unsecured creditors committee of FTX or many, many other crypto clients, helping them manage through challenging times — which is what we have now — has certainly been a challenge for the year.”
