Dan O’Neil is of counsel in the Tax practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York and Boston offices. Dan advises clients on a wide range of executive compensation and employee benefit issues. He has substantial experience with compensation- and benefit-related matters in corporate transactions, including due diligence, Code Section 280G analyses and implementation of qualified and non-qualified plans. Dan frequently assists clients with deferred compensation issues, equity-based arrangements and executive employment, retention and severance agreements. Dan also advises on tax and securities issues related to compensation governance and disclosure.
