Mary Wilbourn is of counsel in the Capital Markets practice, based in Palo Alto. Mary's practice focuses on representing both emerging growth private and public companies in capital markets and other corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on early-stage and late-stage high-growth private companies. Mary has been involved in more than 100 private company financings, providing extensive experience in venture capital and growth equity transactions.
Her experience includes serving as primary outside corporate and securities counsel to public companies, where she counsels clients on SEC reporting, corporate governance and compliance matters. She also advises public companies and their boards of directors on shareholder activism and takeover defense matters, including numerous high-profile proxy contests.
