Overview

Caleb Washington is an associate in the Structured Credit practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Her practice focuses on securitization, structured finance and general corporate finance, with an emphasis on structured credit products and collateralized loan obligation transactions.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Caleb represented investment banks and other financial institutions in their roles as issuers, underwriters, servicers and other market participants on a variety of asset-backed securitization transactions, including residential mortgage-backed securities and commercial mortgage-backed securities. Her work has encompassed repurchase facilities, servicing advance facilities, whole-loan trades and mortgage servicing rights securitizations, as well as support for various private equity and M&A matters spanning multiple industries. 

Caleb received her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where she won the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Graduate Award. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Public Policy, summa cum laude, from Tuskegee University. She is admitted to practice law in New York.
