Overview

Grayson Peters is an associate in the Complex Litigation and Arbitration practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s San Francisco office. He is a member of the Environmental and Energy Group and his practice focuses on environmental disputes, compliance and regulatory matters.

In his regulatory practice, Grayson helps clients navigate land use and environmental laws, including the California Endangered Species Act (CESA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Grayson has experience litigating disputes in California and federal courts, arising under CEQA, the federal Endangered Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act, among other environmental laws. Grayson also counsels on environmental matters for mergers, acquisitions, financings and other transactions. 

Grayson received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2024, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Grayson served as editor-in-chief of the Ecology Law Quarterly and was a research assistant at the Center for Law, Energy & the Environment. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2021. Grayson is admitted to practice law in California.
