Overview

Sydney Bruns is an associate in the Litigation Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on complex litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property matters in the pharmaceuticals and biotechnology fields. She has assisted with matters in federal District Court such as Hatch-Waxman litigation and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Sydney earned her J.D. from Cardozo School of Law in 2024, where she graduated magna cum laude, was a Dean’s Distinguished Scholar and served as Problem Editor of the Moot Court Honor Society. Prior to law school, she obtained her B.S. from the University of South Carolina as a member of the Honors College. Sydney is admitted to practice law in New York.
