London – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced that it has advised Oakley Capital on the sale of its stake in Casa.it to EQT Fund IX.
Casa.it is one of the leading online real estate platforms in Italy, and the sale follows the significant expansion of the business under Oakley Capital. The platform now services over 14,000 real estate agents with over one million property listings on its website.
The team was led by London-based Anu Balasubramanian, Global Vice Chair of the Private Equity practice, with Arun Birla, Chair of the London Office and Partner in the Tax practice and London associates Jamie Holdoway and Hannah Gray. Bernadette Accili and Fabio Labruna of LMS Studio Legale provided Italian advice on tax and corporate matters. Latham & Watkins acted for EQT.
