, (October 2, 2009) Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, a leading global law firm, announced today that it has recently advised in respect of two top-up placement transactions in Hong Kong.
In the first transaction, Paul Hastings advised China Everbright International Limited, a Hong Kong listed company which focuses on environmental protection infrastructure investments in Greater China, on its HK$1.45 billion (approximately US$186 million) top-up placement. Nomura International (Hong Kong) Limited acted as the sole bookrunner on the transaction.
This was followed by the HK$1 billion (approximately US$130 million) top-up placement by Real Gold Mining Limited, a Chinese gold mining company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Paul Hastings advised Citigroup and Macquarie Group as joint bookrunners.
