Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm acted as counsel to the underwriters Barclays, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the offering of $700 million of 8.875% 10 year bonds by Empresas ICA, one of the largest infrastructure companies in Latin America. ICA, which was heard to have originally targeted to raise $500 million in the offering, increased the size of the offering due to strong demand.
Approximately $200 million of the offering will be used to fund the cash tender offer for ICA’s outstanding bonds. Paul Hastings also acted as counsel to Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank as dealer managers in the tender offer.
