San Francisco – Francisco Partners, a leading global private equity firm that specializes in investments in technology and technology-enabled businesses, has entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of portfolio company ClickSoftware Technologies, a team-management technology company to Salesforce for $1.4 billion enterprise value. Francisco Partners took ClickSoftware private in 2015.
