JS Global Debuts in US$381 Million Hong Kong IPO

Hong Kong – Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that it has advised Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Limited, Morgan Stanley Asia Limited, and ICBC International Capital Limited as joint sponsors in the US$381 million global offering and IPO on the Main Board of The Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited (“HKEX”) of JS Global Lifestyle Company Limited (“JS Global”).

A global leader in high-quality, innovative small household appliances backed by Chinese private equity firm CDH Investments, JS Global operates a number of successful and trusted brands worldwide, including Joyoung, Shark and Ninja.

Paul Hastings has represented leading Chinese companies alongside CDH Investments on a number of significant cross-border M&A transactions, including the US$7.1 billion acquisition of Smithfield Foods, Inc. by CDH Investments and WH Group in 2013 and the subsequent listing on the HKEX in 2014; the acquisition of SharkNinja (a leading U.S. small household appliances brand) for over US$1 billion by CDH Investments and Joyoung Co., Ltd. in 2017 and the subsequent listing on the HKEX of this time; and the US$1.4 billion acquisition of Sirtex by CDH Investments and China Grand Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Holdings Limited (HKEX: 00512) in 2018.
