Paul Hastings Represents FTI Consulting in Acquisition of CXO

New York, NY (January 6, 2009) Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading international law firm, announced today that it represented FTI Consulting, a global business advisory firm, in its acquisition of CXO, LLC, an interim and turnaround management services firm. The transaction closed on December 31, 2008.

The acquisition will bring additional senior expertise to FTI Consultings restructuring practice. It will also enhance FTI Consultings capabilities in interim management, and will build on the firms domain expertise in the communications and media sector.

New York partner Charles Baker led the Paul Hastings team, which included associates Glenn Schoenfeld and Claudia Kim.
