Shanghai Electric Issues €600 Million Guaranteed Bonds through Twelve Joint Bookrunners

Shanghai/Hong Kong/Beijing - Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Bank of China Limited, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, CCB International Capital Limited, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, ABCI Capital Ltd, BOCI Asia Limited, Haitong International Securities Company Limited, Huatai Financial Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited, Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Hong Kong Branch, J.P. Morgan Securities plc and Société Générale as counsel to the joint bookrunners in the issuance by Shanghai Electric Newage Company Limited of its €600 million 1.125% guaranteed bonds due 2020 guaranteed by Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited (“Shanghai Electric”). The bonds are listed on The Irish Stock Exchange.
