Filtration Group to Sell Buffalo Filter to CONMED

Chicago – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm is representing Filtration Group, an affiliate of Madison Industries, in its definitive agreement to sell Buffalo Filter, a medical device manufacturer focused on surgical smoke evacuation, to CONMED Corporation for $365 million. CONMED is a medical technology company that provides surgical devices and equipment for minimally invasive procedures. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2019.

The Paul Hastings team represented Filtration Group in its acquisition of Buffalo Filter as well as dozens of other transactions over the years.
