Paul Hastings Advises Rabobank on Cross-Border Financing to Fresh Del Monte Products

July 20, 2009

Atlanta, GA (July 20, 2009) - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading international law firm, announced today that the firm advised Rabobank Nederland, as lead arranger and administrative agent,  on a large cross-border financing to Fresh Del Monte Produce and certain of its U.S. and non-U.S. subsidiaries.

The new $500 million facility replaces Fresh Del Monte's existing revolving credit facility and term loan scheduled to mature in November 2009 and May 2011, respectively.  The transaction closed on July 17, 2009.

In addition to Cindy Davis, the Paul Hastings team included associates Jonathan Moore and Behrouz Kianian, as well as lawyers in the firm's London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo offices.
