Yar Chaikovsky Named Law360 Technology MVP

Yar Chaikovsky was recognized as a Technology MVP for successfully concluding six years of litigation for Trend Micro against Intellectual Ventures, with the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirming a 2015 win. In 2017, Chaikovsky concluded the chapter by successfully urging the court to order Intellectual Ventures to pay Trend Micro’s attorney fees. Law360 also recognized Chaikovsky for his successful defense of HTC in a patent infringement suit, successfully invalidating eight patents and more than 200 claims, the most claims to be invalidated at once under the Supreme Court’s 2014 Alice decision.
