No Sanctions for Hospital and Cardiology Group Co-Management Arrangement

A recent advisory opinion from the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General appears to signal that certain co-management and "gainsharing" arrangements between hospitals and medical groups remain acceptable. This is encouraging news to certain healthcare providers, although it remains important to ensure that such arrangements are structured properly.
