In an increasingly eco-conscious business world, companies are discovering the benefits of adopting greener methods for conducting business, such as powering their operations through alternative energy sources and reducing their carbon footprint by sourcing supplies locally.
Legal counsel may consider doing their part for the environment by incorporating by reference into commercial contracts standard terms and conditions described on a specific company website. This policy would presumably reduce the amount of paper used by both the company and the counterparty.
